A strong interest in the identity of “places” sparked in the young mind of Hoshihara as he was exposed to the many different cultures he experienced in his childhood. In the course of production and development, his aim is to develop creative modeling to decipher the context of the “place”.By being involved in the “place” at all times, he brings back the historical background and the traditional culture and art of that era into the present.
Moreover, modern issues revealed by research and examination of the history and cultural environment of a “place”, can be implemented to the “place”as a new feature. Always respecting the identity of the “place”, he seeks to express the greatest potential of the “place”.
